Graphic Design Services
Design that comes from somewhere.
Good design isn’t decoration. It’s communication made visible.
Every colour, typeface, and layout choice says something about your brand. The question is whether it’s saying what you intend. When graphic design is rooted in a clear understanding of who you are and what you’re trying to communicate, it works harder and lasts longer. When it’s based on trends or personal taste alone, it tends to need replacing in a year or two.
I’ve spent 28 years working at the intersection of brand thinking and visual execution. My background is in advertising, which means I approach design/graphic design as a form of persuasion – not just something that looks appealing, but something that communicates clearly and moves people to respond. If you’re looking for graphic design services that are grounded in strategy and built to last, I’d be glad to help.
What Graphic Design Services are on offer?
Brand Identity
Logos and logomarks, visual identity systems, brand guidelines and style guides, colour palettes, and typography selection. The foundational visual elements that define how your brand appears across every touchpoint.
Packaging
Product packaging design, label design, packaging mockups and visualisation, and retail-ready artwork. Design that needs to work on shelf, communicate quickly, and hold up through production.
Collateral and Print
Brochures and catalogues, business cards, letterheads and stationery, posters and flyers, and presentation templates. The materials that support your brand in the real world.
Advertising Design
Print advertisements, outdoor and OOH design, digital ad creatives, and campaign visual development. Design that’s built to capture attention and deliver a message.
Specialist Areas
Some projects benefit from a more detailed conversation. These pages go deeper into specific areas of design work.
Logo Design
The mark that represents everything else. A logo needs to work at every size, in every context, and carry the weight of your entire brand. It’s a small piece of design with outsized importance, and it deserves careful thought. Learn more about our Logo Design services
Packaging Design
Design that lives in the real world – on shelves, in hands, in homes. Packaging needs to attract attention, communicate clearly, and work within production constraints. I approach it as both a brand expression and a practical problem to solve. Learn more about our Packaging Design Services
Brochure Design
Print and digital brochures that inform and persuade. A well-designed brochure guides the reader through information in a logical way, balances text and visuals, and leaves them with a clear sense of who you are and what you offer. Learn more about our Brochure Design services
Brand Identity Design
Complete visual identity systems, from logo through to comprehensive guidelines. For brands that need more than a logo – a full visual language that can be applied consistently across every medium and touchpoint. Learn more about our Brand Identity Design service
How I Work – The process that you can expect
Strategy First
I find that the best design work comes from a clear understanding of the brand it’s representing. Before I start designing, I want to understand who you are, who you’re speaking to, and what you’re trying to achieve. If that strategic thinking doesn’t exist yet, I can help develop it – or we can work on it together as part of the design process.
Concepts and Refinement
I typically present two or three initial directions, each rooted in a different strategic approach. Once you’ve chosen a direction, we refine it together over one or two rounds until it’s right. I prefer this focused approach to endless iteration – it tends to produce better work and a clearer decision-making process.
Collaboration
I’m happy to work independently, or alongside your existing team, other designers, or agencies. If you have other partners involved in the project, I’ll coordinate with them to make sure the work fits together.
Deliverables
You’ll receive final files in all the formats you need – print-ready artwork, web-ready files, and editable source files so you or your team can make updates in future. I also provide guidance on how to use the design correctly, whether that’s a simple usage note or a full set of brand guidelines.
Design and Words Together
One thing that’s somewhat unusual about working with me is that I do both design and copywriting. Most designers don’t write, and most writers don’t design. When one person handles both, the work tends to be more coherent.
This is particularly valuable for projects like brochures, packaging, and advertising, where words and visuals need to work together closely. Instead of a back-and-forth between a separate writer and designer, I can develop both in tandem – making sure the copy fits the layout and the design supports the message.
This isn’t always the right approach. Sometimes you have a writer you love and just need design, or you have a design direction and just need copy. I’m happy to work either way. But when integration makes sense, it’s an advantage worth considering.
Working With Agencies
When I work with agencies, I fit into your process. You provide the brief – whether it’s packaging for a client, collateral for a campaign, or design execution within established brand guidelines – and I deliver the work. I’m comfortable working to your specifications, and I understand the pace and pressures of agency life.
If you need design support for a pitch, a product launch, or an overflow situation, I can step in and deliver without a long onboarding process.

Working With Brands
When I work directly with brands, there’s often more scope to shape the work from the beginning. These projects might start with a conversation about strategy before any design begins, and they often evolve into ongoing relationships where I become your regular graphic design resource.
I enjoy this kind of professional partnership because it allows me to understand your brand deeply over time. The work gets better as I learn more about who you are and what you’re trying to achieve.

How This Connects
Design rarely exists in isolation. Here’s how it relates to other professional creative services I offer.
Brand Communication Strategy
Visual identity should express verbal identity. If you’re developing a new brand or refreshing an existing one, it often makes sense to define the voice and messaging alongside the visual work. That way, everything is aligned from the start. Learn more about My Brand Communication Strategy Service
Copywriting
For projects that involve both words and visuals – brochures, packaging, advertisements – I can handle both, or design around copy you provide. Either way, the two need to work together. Learn more about our Copywriting services
3D Visualisation
Sometimes you need to see the design in context before it’s produced. Packaging mockups, product visualisation, retail environment renders – 3D work can help you evaluate and present design concepts more effectively. Learn more about our 3D Product Visualisation Services
